The PM221212E Stem Elbow is different from a standard elbow. It features a 12 mm push-fit connection on one side and a 12 mm stem on the other, allowing it to plug directly into another compatible 12 mm push-fit fitting.
 
This creates a compact 90° connection without needing a short section of pipe between fittings - particularly useful where installation space is limited.
