🔥 WHY WE USE LPG GAS DROP-OUT VENTS
LPG is heavier than air. If gas escapes from a bottle, regulator, or connection, it can collect at the lowest point of an enclosed gas locker rather than naturally dispersing upwards.
 
A floor-mounted drop-out vent provides a permanent low-level opening through which escaped gas can vent to the outside of the vehicle.
 
This compact 50 mm drop-out vent is designed for installation through the floor of campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Its extended body passes through the floor construction, while the integrated grille helps protect the opening from larger debris.
 
We use dedicated floor drop-out vents when building campervan gas lockers to provide permanent low-level ventilation directly to the outside of the vehicle.

🚐 REAL-WORLD USE
This vent is designed to be fitted through the floor at the lowest point of a gas bottle compartment, creating a permanent ventilation path to the outside.
 
The 50 mm body makes it particularly useful in campervan conversions where a simple, compact floor vent is required without installing a large ventilation grille through the side of the vehicle.
When positioning the vent, always check underneath the vehicle before drilling to avoid chassis members, wiring, fuel lines, tanks, exhaust components and other equipment.
